Higher-order EW corrections in ZZ and ZZj production at the LHC

A bstract We consider the production of a pair Z bosons at LHC and study inclusion EW corrections in theoretical predictions fixed order based on multijet-merged parton-shower simulations. To this end we present exact NLO results for pp → e + − μ , and, first time, j compare them to virtual NLL Sudakov approximation. then match result resummed logarithms achieve an improved $$ \mathrm{NLO}\ \mathrm{EW}+\mathrm{NLL}\ {\mathrm{EW}}_{\mathrm{sud}}^{\mathrm{exp}} NLO EW + NLL sud exp result. Further, discuss above M P s @N lo event simulations framework S herpa generator. detailed phenomenological inclusive ZZ ZZj taking into account dominant through approximation, as well (exponentiated) logarithms.
